This fabulous 1968 project is quick and easy knitting done on Jumbo sized needles! (size US 50 / 25mm).

The needles were called Jumbo Jets by Reynolds, which may be harder to come by these days, but size 50 substitute big needles are still readily available in crafting stores :):

Instructs for three sizes: misses Small (8-10), Medium (12-14) and Large (16-18).

Bust sizes: 28-30 ( 32/34, 36-38)"

Original pattern called for : pair of large/jumbo needles (US 50, 25mm), Reynolds Alpaca 10 ply yarn and Reynolds French Floss DK 8 ply and Reynolds Encore Sport 5 ply. Also requires crochet hook size J and 2 ping pong balls for "ping-pon" front tie trim. Dress is knitted with four strands of yarn held together ( two 10 ply, one DK and one 5 ply).
