This fabulous 1968 project is quick and easy knitting done on Jumbo needles! (size US 50 / 25mm).

The needles were called Jumbo Jets by Reynolds, which may be harder to come by these days, but size 50 substitute Jumbo needles are still readily available in crafting stores :):

Instructs for three sizes: misses Small (8-10), Medium (12-14) and Large (16-18).

Features:

Long Sleeved that tie off at the wrist with use of crocheted covered ping pong balls, instead of pom poms :).

Mini, above knee length

Original pattern called for : pair of large/jumbo needles (US 50, 25mm), Reynolds Monique 14 ply yarn and Reynolds Scotch Mist 12 ply yarn. Also requires crochet hook size J and 4 ping pong balls for "ping-pon" sleeve trim.

Dress is knitted with two strands of yarn held together ( bulky 12 ply and super bulky 14 ply).
