Offering a vintage knitting pattern to make a beautiful Fair Isle Norse sweater dress in cool colors of the sea with flashes of rose!

Instructs for three sizes: Small (8-10), medium (12-14) and large (16-18).

Dress is knit as a tube on a circular needle from neck to lower edge. Armholes are cut and the long tubular sleeves are sewn in, giving it a drop shoulder styling :).

Requires 4 plied worsted weight yarn in five colors, 29" circular needle no. 8, and pair of dp no. 8 (US) needles.

Pattern instructs for an above knee length (as per photo) of 32" from lower edge to shoulder, but can be made longer by repeating any desired pattern band downwards to desired length.

Written row-by-row instruction with charts for the worked in Fair Isle bands.
