This mid '80s "Sign of Success" sweater reads "I'm A Luxury" on the front and " Few Can Afford" on the back - too cute. This is the one Princess Diana wore back in the day :).
Knitted in four separate pieces (front, back & sleeves) then sewn together.
Text design is a worked in design through charts.
Five sizes:
To fit bust/chest 34 (36, 38, 40, 42) in., 87 (92, 97, 102, 107) cm
Length 24 (25.5, 26.5, 27, 28) in., 61 (65, 67, 69, 71) cm
Sleeve 19.25 (19.25, 19.75, 20, 20) in., 49 (49, 50, 51, 51) cm
Materials required:
Pairs of straight needles: US 2 - 2.75 mm and US 3 - 3.25 mm
9 (9, 10, 11, 11) 50g balls 4ply yarn in main shade (A) Grey
1 50g ball in contrast shade (B) White
3 50g balls in contrast shade (C) Pink
