Offering a vintage PDF crochet pattern to make a sweet Baby Doll in a Blanket lovey!
This is the original OG baby doll in a blanket pattern from the '50s :).
Larger craft baby doll head ( 4.5 to 5.5 inch) with hands set attaches to a pillow blanket base with ruffled edge - so sweet. When searching for this vintage craft supply (head hands) be sure to put "thumb sucker" or "bottle" in the search as baby holds a bottle on one hand and sucks the other hands thumb :) :) :)
Finished size is not mentioned in this retro pattern but may be around 18"x 18" or so when considering the body panel size.
This vintage pattern called for a now discontinued DuPont Orlon Sayelle 10 ply worsted variegated yarn. So any 100% acrylic worsted yarn will do as a nice substitute.
Also requires 4.5 to 5.5 inch craft baby doll head and hands set and G & H hooks.
