Length is 52 inches but can be shortened to midi or mini length.
Pattern called for a now discontinued Paton's Gem yarn, which was a fingering weight 4 ply 100% cotton yarn (so any nice quality 4 ply will work!) and nos. 8, 9 & 11 hooks (4mm, 3.5mm and 3mm).
