"This lovely afghan is crocheted in six-inch squares which are stitched together and bow-tied on the corners. Our finished afghan measures 44” x 56”, but of course, the size can easily be adjusted by changing the number of squares. The soft spun-sugar look is created by using a mohair-blend yarn for the pink, peach and fern green colors. The white holding it all together is a slightly sturdier acrylic. All joined squares are bordered in several rounds of solid and open work using pink, peach, and white: plus picot stitch edging. The matching finished pillow is a single, large, lacy-bordered rose and measures a 14” square and is velvet backed."
